Fair Wage/Overtime

Ryan Scott Nalley has a vast amount experience successfully litigating cases for unpaid wages and overtime.  Typically employer's attempt to disguise employee titles to make them exempt from the law, or hide wages in forms of bonuses or reimbursement plans.  In reality it very rare for an employee to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938.  Further, in a cases for overtime your employer not only has to pay you all past due wages, but he must pay you an equal amount in liquidated damages.  Thus, your employer will owe you double the amount originally owed.  Further, the FLSA has extremely strict penalties to prevent your employer from retaliating against employees who assert their rights under the law, and lastly, your employer is liable for all costs and attorney's fees.  The reason for these provisions is that enforcing the FLSA helps the economy and the country.

If you are working over 40 hours a week and not receiving time plus one half for each hour over 40, or are otherwise are not being compensated for work performed, despite what your employer says, you may be owed overtime wages.
